Why does YunoJuno need a ratings system?
The purpose of the YunoJuno new rating system is to help provide hirers with greater confidence that a given contractor is the right choice for their project, and to give a chance to both parties to provide constructive feedback by allowing for both private and public comments.
Greater client confidence in our platform will result in more projects being offered on our platform.
How does star rating system work?
After a booking is completed, clients and contractors are able to rate the experience of working together on a scale from 1 to 5 stars, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. Both parties are encouraged to provide a detailed review to explain their rating, offering constructive feedback.
Where are the ratings shown?
Ratings of contractors are shown on their profile, along with any selected highlights or comments.
Contractor ratings of clients are shared directly with the business in question, but are not visible to other contractors within the platform.
Am I able to choose whether to show or hide a public comment left under the new system?
No. Any comments left with a rating are displayed on a contractor's profile, so as to make the system as transparent as possible.
All reviews and comments are moderated by YunoJuno against our acceptable usage policy before display.
Are reviews moderated before being published?
Yes, all comments submitted with ratings are moderated by YunoJuno staff to check that they don’t break our guidelines, i.e. they are not inappropriate or offensive in any way.
What should I do if I believe a review is unfair?
If you believe a comment submitted by a client does not meet our moderation guidelines, please contact the Platform Success team at hello@yunojuno.com or via live chat.
Please note that, given the subjective nature of any ratings system, the only cases where a review will be removed is if the review contains inappropriate comments, or can be proven to be demonstrably false through supporting evidence.
95.5% of the existing ratings we have on the YunoJuno platform are positive, so this will be an extremely rare occurrence.
Why aren't ratings of clients be published?
A client is often made up of different hiring managers, so a contractor could get a very different experience of working with the same client, thereby making the reviews less relevant.
However, YunoJuno reviews all ratings and associated comments that are submitted about clients by contractors. The captured ratings and comments are aggregated and anonymized, before being shared with the client in question.
