Our new ratings system for freelancers will be based on the client leaving a 5-star rating and an optional public comment at the end of each booking.
To ensure that rating comments on the YunoJuno platform are fair, respectful, and constructive the moderation team will evaluate each comment before it is publicly shown on a freelancer's profile.
Comments will only be approved for publication on a freelancer's profile if they meet these criteria:
Respectful tone: reviews should be written in a professional and respectful tone. Even if the feedback is critical, it should be expressed constructively and without personal attacks.
Truthful representation: the review should reflect an honest and accurate account of the freelancer's performance. False claims, exaggerated statements, or misleading information are grounds for rejection - especially if the freelancer can provide evidence they are false.
Project-related feedback: the content of the review should be directly related to the work performed during the booking. Reviews that focus on personal characteristics, unrelated incidents, or anything outside the freelancer's professional performance will not be approved.
Constructive criticism: negative feedback should be specific and actionable by the freelancer, offering insights that could help them improve. Reviews that are purely negative without constructive elements or that seem intended solely to harm the freelancer's reputation will not be approved.
No offensive language: reviews should not contain any profanity, hate speech, or abusive language. This includes slurs, derogatory terms, or any other language intended to demean or insult anyone.
No discrimination: reviews must not contain any discriminatory comments based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, nationality, or any other protected characteristic. Discriminatory language will result in immediate rejection of the review.
No personal information: reviews should not include personal information about the freelancer or any third party, such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any personal circumstances.
No confidential information: any sensitive or confidential information related to the project or the client must not be disclosed in the review.
Platform terms adherence: reviews must comply with YunoJuno's overall platform guidelines, terms of service & privacy policy. Any review that violates these rules will not be approved.
